Piece of idiot

A series of the 5 speсtacles based on the novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky’s «Idiot» directed by Dasha Bresler and Zhenya L Zban'. During the process of working on the project, the team started exploring various acting techniques, looking for the forms of collective creative work, and developing their own methodology of body and performative practices. The space for the first show was provided by the administration of the Contour Family loft project, for the next two – by the administration of Yelagin island palace.



The performance structure changed from show to show, becoming more open, and acquired site-specific features.



The last two shows took place at the Vitebsky Railway Station, in the railway carriage and the Pavlovsky Park.
