Movie ticket




The performance took place at Tochka dostupa festival and dedicated to women who are currently working and worked in the past at Lenfilm studio. 

Consists of three parts.

The first part is a short movie “Nevedimki” (The invisible), screened in a director’s cinema hall of Lenfilm. It is made from footage of soviet and post soviet Lenfilm’s movies.  “Nevedimki” shows and talks aboaut inviseble labor in the sinematograpic industry, which is mostly made by women in Soviet union and nowadays, while main public roles such as “director”, “director of cinematography” are still occupaid by men.



The second part is a walk trough partly destroyed Lenfilm studio. The walk accompained by the voices of women of Lenfilm, telling about their life and work and performances by Vokrug da okolo collective members. Performances depict everyday labor, which is traditionally classified as “women” labor: cleaning, laundry and so on. Part of the route was laid in the abonded bomb shelter and warehouse, turned into a light and audio installations.



The third part is an audio-movie “Nezabudki” (Forget me not). It was also screened in a director’s cinema hall. The movie is an animated map with all the names of all persons who took part in a project, every person names themselves, so each name becomes heard and visible.



The on-line version of the performance is a web-site with podcasts made of the interwiews on whitch project was based and “Nevidimki” and “Nezabudki” movies.

The performance was nominated for the main Russian theater award “Golden Mask” in the “ experiment” category.
